The Portfolio Manager is responsible for conducting financial analysis of credit for loan requests as well as assisting Bank Officers. The incumbent will conduct financial analysis of credit for new and existing clients and prospects, generate spreads, term sheets, and other information for loan requests and conduct underwriting. They will determine the strength and/or weakness of credit requests to determine the terms of the loan and ability to repay. The role involves building profiles and loan requests in nCino for approval, contacting Loan Officers and/or clients to request necessary financial information for analysis, and generating reports to determine past or current maturities that are not yet cleared and requesting any necessary information. The Portfolio Manager will prepare memos outlining financial information for approvals, track maturity for renewals monthly, and be actively involved in understanding the documentation and closing process. They will attend sales appointments with Officers as requested and work on term sheets/commitment letters as directed by supervisors. Additionally, the role involves assisting Loan Officers and Credit Officers with various functions such as clearing collateral exceptions, reporting information, and implementing new systems. The Portfolio Manager will serve as a resource for junior Credit Analyst/Assistant Relationship Managers and provide training as needed. They are responsible for being familiar with all compliance regulations and policies applicable to the position and ensuring compliance with these regulations and policies.
