Responsibilities

  • Ensure our property looks exceptional at all times, keeping it free of trash and ensuring timely trash pickup.
  • Follow safety programs and policies to ensure the safety of team members and residents.
  • Communicate with the maintenance team about items that need to be addressed and with residents regarding concerns and property events.
  • Assist with operational needs and manage time effectively to juggle resident services and facility requests.
  • Complete all unit-turns for vacated apartments to guarantee a clean and well-maintained home for new residents.
  • Help set up and take down resident events and assist with other tasks as needed.
  • Proactively solve problems and take on additional initiatives and responsibilities as they emerge.
  • Seek out opportunities to be a leader and help the company achieve its larger objectives.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of maintenance experience preferred.
  • Customer centric with a warm demeanor, positive attitude, and impeccable follow through.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize efficiently and motivate/lead team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and complete multiple tasks with simultaneous deadlines/interruptions.
  • Maintain an organized filing system and office areas.
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation required (only applicable to New Orleans).
  • Knowledge of the city and local transportation options.
  • Must be fluent in the English language.
  • Basic knowledge of technology, including smart phones and computers.
  • Computer proficiency including but not limited to Microsoft Office.
