About the position
Ovation, a family-owned and privately held real estate firm with a 40-year track record, is seeking a Detail Technician for our Maintenance Department at the Chateau Calais building in Henderson. This position focuses on maintaining the overall appearance of the community, ensuring a high-quality lifestyle for residents. The role involves a variety of tasks including finish work, cleaning, and minor maintenance, with a strong emphasis on cleanliness and attention to detail. The Detail Technician will primarily work outdoors, spending about 85% of the day outside, and will assist the maintenance staff as needed.
Responsibilities
- Finish work including painting, cleaning, and caulking
- Maintain cleanliness of all common areas and amenities
- Policing the grounds and parking areas
- Painting curbs and parking lot striping
- Perform minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and painting
- Assist maintenance staff upon request
Requirements
- Strong cleaning skills
- Ability to work outdoors for 85% of the day
- Pre-employment background check and drug testing required
- Availability to work weekends is mandatory
