About the position
The Pool Technician position involves performing various pool maintenance and repair tasks, including the installation of heaters, pumps, chemical automation systems, and filters. The role requires working outdoors year-round, testing chemicals, cleaning pools and spas, and conducting repairs. The technician will be provided with a company truck, equipment, and chemicals, and is expected to be reliable, motivated, and a fast learner.
Responsibilities
- Install heaters, pumps, chemical automation systems, and filters.
- Test chemicals and ensure proper chemical balance in pools and spas.
- Clean pools and spas to maintain hygiene and appearance.
- Perform repairs on pool equipment and systems.
- Lift and carry equipment weighing at least 50 lbs.
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions year-round.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License and clean DMV report.
- Experience as a service technician in pool maintenance and repair.
- High school diploma or GED.
