As a Pool Server at Hotel Viata, you will provide an elevated poolside dining experience by delivering exceptional service with a warm and welcoming attitude.
Responsibilities
Taking accurate guest orders, entering them into the POS system, making food and beverage recommendations, and ensuring timely service.
Enhancing the guest experience by suggesting cocktails, wines, and menu items, and confidently describing chef's specials.
Maintaining knowledge of food ingredients, special dietary options, and preparation methods to answer guest inquiries.
Keeping kitchen staff informed of meal progression to ensure smooth service.
Processing guest payments accurately and balancing all transactions with precision.
Setting up and maintaining the poolside dining area with necessary table settings, condiments, and service essentials.
Adhering to all food and alcohol handling, sanitation, TIPS, and health department guidelines to ensure a safe and high-quality dining experience.
Requirements
Experience in the food & beverage industry.
Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage with guests.
A positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
Nice-to-haves
Experience describing food, ingredients, and preparation techniques.
