Pool Server on call
About The Position
As a Food & Beverage pool Server, you would be responsible for maintaining a clean, professional work area at all times. You will serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and food to patrons of the grill area. This role requires obtaining knowledge of menu items, beverage brands, cocktail recipes, varieties of beer and wines, soda, water, sugars, and other prepared beverages. You will perform in accordance with all state regulations regarding alcohol service and consumption, and serve hot and cold food to guests in a timely manner. Following all Steps of Service, including greeting guests, upselling, establishing rapport, serving, pre-bussing, thanking guests, and inviting them back, is essential. You will collect monies for beverages and food served in the pool grill area, and maintain a clean area around the bar grill, free of clutter. General cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products will be performed as assigned by your supervisor to adhere to health standards. Full knowledge of Micros and end-of-shift reports is required. Regular attendance is essential for the successful performance of this position. You will also carry out all reasonable requests by management.
Requirements
- 1 year previous bartending/serving experience in a hospitality environment.
- High school Diploma/equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- 1+ year previous bartending/serving experience in a hospitality environment.
- Alcohol Awareness Certification.
- Food Safety Certification.
Responsibilities

- Keep area in and around bar grill clean and free of clutter.
- Perform general cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by your supervisor to adhere to health standards.
- Full knowledge of Micros and end of shift reports.
- Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established and revised by HGVC from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position.
- Carries out all reasonable requests by management.
