About the position
The position is for part-time adjunct instructors in the Mechanical Engineering Technology Program. The instructors will be responsible for delivering effective instruction in various courses, which may include AutoCAD, Solid Works, Blueprint Reading, Technical Drafting, Manufacturing Materials, Design Processes, and Safety. The role is temporary and will remain open until filled.
Responsibilities
- Deliver effective instruction in the Mechanical Engineering Technology Program
- Teach courses such as AutoCAD, Solid Works, Blueprint Reading, Technical Drafting, Manufacturing Materials, Design Processes, and Safety
Requirements
- A Master's Degree in Engineering or a master's degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in engineering is required to teach DFT 170 (Engineering Graphics) and EGR 150 (Introduction to Engineering)
- An Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or related field is required for all other courses, along with verifiable work experience in the field
Nice-to-haves
- A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred for all coursework except DFT 170 and EGR 150
- Teaching experience is preferred
