About the position

Western Piedmont Community College seeks applications for an Adjunct Instructor of Psychology to teach topics in the Psychology curriculum, including courses in general, developmental, and abnormal psychology. The primary responsibilities of faculty are to teach and develop the curriculum by creating an effective learning environment through the use of a variety of instructional methods, assessing student performance, and maintaining records. Class sessions may take place on a WPCC campus, on Burke County high school campuses, and online.

Requirements

  • A Master's Degree in Psychology or a master's degree in a related field with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Psychology.
