About The Position

The purpose of a Pool/Beach Attendant is responsible for providing and maintaining a safe, organized and pleasant Beach and Pool areas for all Members and guests. This will be accomplished through the regular maintenance of Beach equipment and furniture, set-up and breakdown of equipment and furniture, regular cleaning and organization of Beach and Pool areas, and overall surveillance of Beach and Pool areas and all patrons. Working primarily in and around Beach Club pool(s) and designated Aquatics areas. Performs any other duties as requested by supervisor.

Requirements

Knowledge of CPR and emergency medical procedures a plus
Must have excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with fellow team members, management team, Members and guests
Must be able to work a variable schedule, including weekends and holidays
Must present professional appearance and attitude at all times, maintaining a high level of member service
Must have ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions
Must have ability to act swiftly in an emergency situation

Responsibilities

Assist Members and guests with beach and pool equipment and furniture setup and breakdown
Actively maintain organization and cleanliness of Beach and Pool areas, including cleaning furniture and sweeping steps on regular basis
Ensure all beach and pool equipment and furniture is in safe working order, reporting damage to supervisor and/or Maintenance team
Maintain surveillance of all Beach and pool patrons, acting immediately and appropriately in any emergency situation
Collect and report lost items to supervisor and/or Security team
Maintain readiness to assist Lifeguards in any emergency situation as needed
Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors and/or managers
