Position Description: Sleep Tech Collaborate with the Sleep Medicine team to oversee home sleep apnea testing, manage respiratory care coordination, and ensure high-quality patient care within an academic medical center environment. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy or related field OR equivalent combination of education/experience required.
  • Minimum of four years of respiratory and sleep experience required.
  • Respiratory Therapist credentials (CRT or RRT) and licensure in the State of Nebraska required.
  • Registered Polysomnography Technician (RPSGT) by BRPT within one year of hire required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Demonstrated ability to instruct and collaborate with others required.
  • Respiratory Care Practitioner License in Nebraska required.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of two years' experience as a respiratory therapist preferred.
  • Prior HSAT/PSG scoring experience preferred.
  • Previous clinical experience in a sleep lab environment preferred.
  • Experience with equipment utilized in the scope of practice preferred.
  • Experience with quality assurance and policy processes preferred.
  • Computer experience with data management preferred.
