Responsibilities
- Protect lives and uphold the law
- Foster positive relationships within the community
- Complete comprehensive training and mentorship from seasoned officers
- Participate in a multi-tiered selection process
- Sign an agreement to refrain from smoking or using tobacco products on or off duty
- Adhere to drug screening policies
Requirements
- Must successfully complete each component of the selection process
- Must not smoke or use tobacco products on or off duty
- Prohibited from using marijuana or any derivative thereof
- Must provide necessary documentation including driver's license, social security card, birth certificate, and high school diploma/transcripts
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience in law enforcement or related fields
- Higher education in criminal justice or related disciplines
