About the position

The Plumbing Project Sales Representative at Mechanical Systems Company, LLC is a newly created role focused on engaging with commercial and industrial customers to promote plumbing services. This position aims to support business growth by building strong customer relationships and expanding the client base in Memphis and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will leverage their plumbing expertise and sales skills to navigate complex sales cycles and establish trust with decision-makers.

Responsibilities

  • Present Mechanical Systems Company to potential commercial customers.
  • Qualify opportunities and win Plumbing Project Sales that align with customer needs.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients.
  • Conduct cold calls to generate new business.
  • Work with existing clients throughout the Mid-South.
  • Accountable for all sales activities and customer relationships between MSC and commercial/industrial clients.

Requirements

  • Prior sales experience, preferably B2B.
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
  • Must pass drug and background screens.
  • Knowledge of the plumbing industry is preferred.
  • Basic computer proficiency in Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Time and activity management skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in making cost estimates for commercial construction projects is a huge plus.
