This position is eligible to work a hybrid schedule from the Des Moines metro The Summer Intern will work alongside the Cloud, Infrastructure, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams to support enterprise-scale systems and projects. This role offers hands-on experience in cloud operations, infrastructure management, and reliability engineering, with exposure to both Windows and Linux environments. The intern will collaborate with technical teams, organize information, and contribute to testing and automation initiatives.

  • Be an active participant in an agile delivery team
  • Work with various Platform Engineering teams across Technology Operations participating in team meetings and completing assigned tasks
  • Work with a large range of technologies including AWS, Azure, M365, Git, Bamboo, CDK, Python, and Powershell
  • Learn about the various roles and responsibilities in Technology Operations including automation, cloud, networking, infrastructure, systems, platform solutions, delivery, support and enablement.
  • Participate in planning and completing project, support and service requests
  • Create and improve diagrams and documentation
  • Completion of freshman year in a Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field preferred
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher preferred
  • Familiarity with Windows or Linux operating systems
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
  • Interest or experience in automating processes
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn new technologies
  • Interest in problem-solving and process improvement
