About The Position

Operate plastic processing equipment, including automatic and semi-automatic machines, to produce components that meet quality and production targets. Set up, start, and monitor machines following process sheets, manufacturing procedures, and supervisor instructions. Perform equipment and process setups, including tooling and die changes, to achieve required part dimensions and quality. Monitor machine parameters and make routine adjustments (temperature, pressure, speed) to ensure consistent output. Inspect parts using measuring tools and visual checks to verify compliance with dimensional and quality standards. Accurately record production data, scrap, process adjustments, and basic maintenance activities. Support routine preventive maintenance and perform minor repairs; escalate major equipment issues to maintenance teams. Handle materials from the production line and package components into designated containers. Follow all work instructions, safety guidelines, quality procedures, and PPE requirements. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Basic knowledge of blueprint/schematic reading and intermediate math and measurement skills.
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and common inspection equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and visual acuity.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to complete accurate documentation.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and make routine process decisions within defined guidelines.
  • Willingness and ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts (day or night), including overtime as needed, in a manufacturing environment requiring PPE.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate technical degree in Mechanical or related field or a minimum of 2 years of experience as a machine operator (preferred).
