About The Position

This is a full time entry level position with cross training lead-ins to operate some of the advanced equipment in the facility to cover breaks. Production bonuses are possible for every employee each month, based on the plant site’s target goals. This position will start out on a Monday through Thursday 5:00pm - 3:30 am shift until trained. Then will go to the Tuesday through Friday shift.

Requirements

• All candidates hired required to pass a drug test.
• Good communication skills through writing, speech and hearing
• Must be willing to learn new skills
• Lifting is 20-30 pounds on a continuous basis
• Be a team player and self-starter
• Be self-motivated; goal-oriented
• All applicants offered a position must successfully complete a pre-employment drug & alcohol test and background check.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Sawmill experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Pick up slabs, sticks, sawdust, and chips off lower mill floors
• Assist with dust mitigation
• Maintain a safe environment and comply with all safety policies and procedures
• Apply good housekeeping standards to your work area or any area you observe
