About The Position
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Pipe Welders for projects located in the Maryville, TN area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is up to $32/hour based on experience and skill level. Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of pipe welding experience
- Must be able to pass a 2 sch 80 carbon steel weld test
- Strong stainless steel welding experience required
- Experience with tig and stick welding processes
- Ability to read blueprints and weld diagrams
- All welding gear/ppe
Nice To Haves
- OSHA 10 is preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform pipe welding on carbon and stainless steel piping systems
- Complete 2 sch 80 carbon steel weld tests to specification
- TIG and Stick weld pipe in multiple positions
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and iso drawings
- Fabricate, fit, and weld pipe systems for industrial equipment and process lines
- Maintain clean high-quality welds that meet code and project standards
