About the position

We are currently seeking a Captain for our Part 91/135 based in Van Nuys, California. The position requires a GIVSP-typed PIC with strong owner communication as well as CRM skills. Candidates must reside within a two-hour drivable commute distance or be willing to relocate to satisfy this requirement. Responsibilities

• Operate the GIVSP aircraft as the Pilot in Command (PIC) under Part 91/135 regulations.
• Communicate effectively with aircraft owners and crew members.
• Ensure compliance with all Federal Aviation regulations, company operations manual, and standard operating procedures.
• Participate in Safety Management System (SMS) compliance and training.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 3,500 hours of total flight time.
• 2,000 hours of Pilot in Command (PIC) time.
• 1,000 hours of Turbine time.
• ATP certification required.
• Type Certification with a minimum of 200 hours in type required.
• Unrestricted ability to travel to all EU, Canada, and Caribbean countries.
• Ability to pass DOT/FAA drug screening and background checks.
• Full, legible, color copies of all FAA certificates (both sides), including Medical, required.

Nice-to-haves

• Candidates within a two-hour drive time preferred, but reasonable commuters may be considered.
• Experience with Safety Management Systems (SMS) is a plus.
