About the position
The Arabesque Conservatory of Music is seeking a contract private piano instructor to provide in-home lessons. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in piano teaching, demonstrating both technical expertise and the ability to connect with students. This role emphasizes flexibility in scheduling and requires reliable transportation to travel to students' homes.
Responsibilities
- Teaching private lessons to students in-home
- Preparing lessons that are tailored to students' needs
- Helping students to develop confidence in their performance skills and general musicianship
- Documenting and reporting on students' progress
Requirements
- Bachelor of Music degree or equivalent
- Driver License and Reliable Transportation Required
- A record of effective teaching experience in private piano instruction
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong command of technology to support teaching
- Expertise in teaching piano technique
