Join Our Emergency Medicine Team at UF Health Spanish Plaines Hospital - The Villages, FL! TeamHealth is proud to collaborate with UF Health in staffing Spanish Plaines Hospital, a facility committed to delivering advanced patient care, medical education, and research in Central Florida. We are currently seeking PRN, part-time, and full-time emergency medicine (EM) physicians to join our growing team. The Villages, Florida, is located in Sumter County and has been nicknamed 'Florida's Friendliest Hometown'. This community is at a perfect distance from several popular metropolitan areas, each about an hour's drive away, including Tampa and Ocala. Life at The Villages is like being on permanent vacation. This active adult community is one of the fastest growing towns in the country and features more than 500 planned recreational events every week.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency medical care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Work as an independent contractor.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM) or board-certified in family medicine (FM) or internal medicine (IM) with current emergency medicine experience.
- Valid ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications.
- Completion of an accredited residency program required.
