About the position

CompHealth is currently assisting a well-established and beautiful cancer care facility in Indiana with their search for a medical oncologist (med-onc) or hematologist oncologist (hem-onc). The facility is looking for physicians who possess specialized training and skills in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of blood diseases and cancers. This opportunity is particularly appealing for those interested in working in an environment that supports active research programs. You will be joining another experienced oncologist in a fully staffed facility that includes nurse practitioners (NPs). The position is primarily outpatient, with 95% of your duties focused on outpatient care and minimal inpatient responsibilities. The work schedule is designed to promote work-life balance, featuring a 4-day workweek and a very light call schedule. On average, you will see between 15 to 20 patients per day, allowing for a manageable patient load. The facility welcomes candidates who are board certified or board eligible, as well as those who are currently in practice, recent graduates, or in fellowship training. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Specialized training in medical oncology or hematology oncology.
  • Board certified or board eligible in oncology.
  • Recent graduates or those in fellowship training are welcome.
  • Ability to manage a high patient volume in an outpatient setting.
