Physician - Neurohospitalist - Baptist Medical Center South
About The Position
Baptist Neurological Institute is seeking a General Neurohospitalist to join their rapidly growing team at the South campus. This is Northeast Florida’s premier center for the treatment of neurological conditions of the brain and spine. The role involves a 7-on/7-off schedule and offers advanced neurosurgical operative suites with intraoperative MRI and CT capabilities, dedicated neuro-interventional suites with bi-plane imaging, and a dedicated 24-bed Neuro ICU. The position includes 48 private patient suites for neurological conditions and is an adult service with a consult-only model, meaning no outpatient follow-up is required. Additional compensation is provided for overnight call.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Board certified or board eligible
- Active/unrestricted medical license
- Ability to obtain a Florida Medical License

- Experience in neurohospitalist care
- Experience with Epic EHR System
Responsibilities
- Consult only for adult neurological conditions
- Provide care within a dedicated 24-bed Neuro ICU

- Work within dedicated neuro-interventional suites with bi-plane imaging
- Participate in an overnight call rotation with additional compensation
