About the position
The position is for a Hematologist in Lafayette, Indiana, offering a full-time role focused on providing exceptional patient care in a supportive, team-oriented environment. The role includes both outpatient and inpatient responsibilities, with a gradual increase in patient volume expected over time. The ideal candidate will be board certified in Medical Oncology and Hematology, with a strong emphasis on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for patients with hematologic disorders.
- Manage outpatient and inpatient cases, gradually increasing to an anticipated volume of 21 patients per day.
- Participate in a call schedule, including weekday, weekend, and holiday coverage.
- Collaborate with a full support staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Engage with the community to build long-lasting relationships with patients.
Requirements
- Medical Oncology Board Certified
- Hematology Board Certified Preferred
- Strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
