About the position

Mercy in Missouri is recruiting additional family physicians that want to practice rural, comprehensive primary care. Willow Springs is east of Springfield. The area’s cost of living is one of the lowest in the country and it is nearby to multiple Missouri state parks, caves, trails, lakes, and rivers. It’s a close drive to St. Louis, Springfield, Columbia, Lake of the Ozarks and more! Mercy has a 200+ year history dating back to the 1700s in Ireland - let us share this amazing story with you!

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to patients in a rural outpatient setting.
• Focus on quality metrics and adequate time with patients.
• Utilize Mercy Virtual and Mercy on Call for patient care.
• Participate in a physician wellness program aimed at reducing burnout.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Family Medicine.
• Ability to work in a rural healthcare setting.
• Commitment to quality patient care.
