About the position
Spartanburg Medical Center (SMC) is seeking a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Electrophysiologist (EP) Cardiologist to join an expanding hospital-employed cardiology program. The role involves providing a full spectrum of electrophysiology services, including device implantation and ablation procedures, within a supportive environment that includes a robust hospitalist service and advanced EMR support. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive electrophysiology services including device implantation (pacemakers, ICDs) and ablation procedures (SVT, Afib, VT).
- Conduct diagnostic EP studies and manage patient care in a hospital setting.
- Collaborate with a team of general, interventional, and structural cardiologists, along with advanced practice providers (APPs).
- Participate in call coverage with support from a hospitalist service.
- Utilize EPIC EMR for patient documentation and management.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Electrophysiology Cardiology.
- Experience in performing a full range of EP procedures including device implantation and ablations.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

- Fellowship training in Electrophysiology Cardiology.
