About the position

Madden & Gilbert Physical Therapy is seeking a passionate Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) to join our growing outpatient practice in Mechanicsburg, PA. We welcome candidates of all experience levels, and we are particularly interested in those who are eager to advance their manual therapy skills through mentorship. Our practice has been serving Central PA since 2003 and currently operates 7 locations with over 100 team members, including 40+ DPTs. The Mechanicsburg office, established in 2009, is home to a team of 5 clinicians led by Clinical Director Jon Milliron, DPT, COMT. We offer a formal mentorship program and opportunities for professional growth within our organization.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Grade V mobilizations for patients or demonstrate a willingness to learn and advance manual therapy skills.
• Insist on patient outcomes by measuring success through graduation rates of patients who achieve their goals and complete their plan of care.
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and team members, adapting language to suit different audiences.

Requirements

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
• Current PA PT License.
• Willingness to learn and develop manual therapy skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with manual therapy techniques such as Reverse Ehrhard, long axis distraction of the LE, lumbar roll, and thoracic thrusts.
