About the position

The Physical Therapist is responsible for assessing patients' strengths and weaknesses to create effective treatment plans. This role emphasizes evidence-based practices to ensure high-quality care and superior clinical outcomes, particularly for patients with pelvic floor conditions. The therapist will prioritize patient care, provide direct treatment, and continuously evaluate and document patient progress.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients' strengths and weaknesses to devise treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based physical therapy practices.
  • Prioritize patient care and provide direct patient treatment.
  • Evaluate patient case history and functional capabilities to determine rehabilitation potential.
  • Establish and administer treatment programs with specific goals based on patient capacity and tolerance.
  • Educate patients about their conditions and treatment plans.
  • Document and record patient conditions and provide updates on progress.

Requirements

  • Graduated from a CAPTE accredited program.
  • Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Experience in outpatient orthopedics preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Thorough understanding of injury treatment and prevention.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to carry, pull, push, and lift necessary equipment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Interest or experience in treating pelvic floor conditions.
