About the position

Mitchell County Regional Health Center (MCRHC) is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide evaluations and treatments to patients in accordance with physician-approved treatment plans. The role ensures quality physical therapy care and compliance with regulatory guidelines, leading to positive patient outcomes. The position is based in Osage, Iowa, at a 25-bed critical access hospital that operates three clinics and provides 24/7 emergency services. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, with flexible hours between 7:30 am to 4:00 pm or 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy evaluations and treatments to patients.
• Ensure compliance with physician-approved treatment plans.
• Maintain quality physical therapy care and regulatory guideline compliance.
• Communicate effectively with patients and staff.

Requirements

• Graduate of a university approved by the American Physical Therapy Association with a minimum of a Master's in Physical Therapy.
• Possess or maintain a license in the state of Iowa or be eligible for licensure.
• Preferably have at least 2 years of physical therapy practice experience.
• Experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
• Basic computer skills are required.
