About the position
The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at ATI Physical Therapy plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care across multiple clinic locations. This position focuses on supporting Physical Therapists and Clinic Directors in implementing individualized care plans, ensuring a compassionate and effective rehabilitation process for patients. The PTA is expected to embody ATI's core values of quality care, teamwork, and communication while providing a friendly and encouraging environment for patients and staff alike.
Responsibilities
- Treat patients and coordinate care with the Physical Therapist, Operations Support Specialists, and Clinic Director.
- Complete daily patient care notes, progress notes, and other required forms as requested by treating physicians, rehab nurses, or insurance companies.
- Maintain continuous communication with referring physicians and other sources.
- Ensure compliance with local and federal requirements by maintaining clinical logs and checklists.
Requirements
- Excellent patient care and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask while providing exceptional patient experiences.
- Passion for Physical Therapy and patient care.
- Ability to work closely with clinic staff to improve relationships and productivity.
- Physical ability to stand, stoop, and move throughout the clinic for the entire shift.
- Licensed or license eligible as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Delaware.
