About the position
The primary function of the Physical Therapist is to perform and analyze tests and measurements of disabilities resulting from disease and injury. The role involves planning, implementing, and modifying treatment programs, directing and supervising physical therapy services, participating in discharge planning, pursuing professional growth, assisting with educational duties, and performing administrative and other duties as required. Compliance with all aspects of the Colorado Physical Therapy Act in providing physical therapy services is mandatory.
Responsibilities
- Perform and analyze tests and measurements of disabilities resulting from disease and injury.
- Plan, implement, and modify treatment programs.
- Direct and supervise physical therapy services.
- Participate in discharge planning.
- Pursue professional growth and assist with educational duties.
- Perform administrative and other duties as required.
Requirements
- Must hold current licensure by State of Colorado as a Physical Therapist.
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or BS in related field.
- Must be a graduate of a Physical Therapy program accredited by the A.P.T.A.
- BLS required upon hire.
