About the position
As a Physical Therapist (PT) for Interim HealthCare, you will play a crucial role in helping patients regain their strength and mobility through personalized therapy. This position offers flexible hours, allowing you to balance work and life while providing care in various settings, including nursing homes, rehab centers, and clinics. You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy to patients who have lost mobility, strength, or functionality.
- Work with a team of Nurses, LNA's, PT's, OT's, and SLP's to provide excellent patient care.
- Conduct assessments, document progress, and determine if therapy services should be modified.
- Assist patients with exercises and hands-on therapy to manage pain and increase mobility.
- Educate patients and families on established goals, exercises, and self-care to ensure progress.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Program and active PT license in New Hampshire.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of physical therapy experience.
- CPR certification.
- Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.
- Good clinical judgment and strong interpersonal skills.
