About the position

The PRN Phlebotomist position at Ramp Health involves performing biometric health screenings at various client locations. The Phlebotomist will conduct blood draws, health assessments, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive screening experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform venous and capillary blood collection efficiently and safely.
• Conduct biometric screenings including blood pressure, BMI, body fat measurements, and other health metrics.
• Ensure proper labeling, handling, and transportation of blood specimens.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of participant information.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe and sterile environment.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professional team members.
• Provide services at various screening sites as needed, requiring reliable transportation.
• Assist with transporting medical instruments and supplies to and from screening events, if necessary.
• Facilitate effective communication between team members, management, and clients.
• Attend paid training sessions, either in-person or via Microsoft Teams.
• Perform additional related duties as required.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Current certification as a Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) or equivalent.
• Current licensure (if required) as a Phlebotomist.
• Proficiency in performing blood draws and biometric measurements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• CPR certification.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual abilities are highly desirable, but not required.
