Pharmacy Technician Specialist – Infusion Services
About The Position
Reimagining health care – working in our new state-of-the-art facility on Madison’s east side – you will help transform the patient experience. We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician Specialist to prepare and distribute pharmaceuticals, perform inventory control, and compliance; provide excellent customer service, and maintain pharmacy records. Adapt to a changing environment, demonstrate flexibility and a positive attitude to complete any work within the scope of the role. Be a strong team player, highly detail-oriented, and a critical thinker who easily identifies how to prioritize work and manage time within a busy work environment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent Required
- 6 months experience as a pharmacy technician, completion of accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program, or completion of second year of pharmacy school. Required
- Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician Registration Upon Hire Required
Nice To Haves
- Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program Preferred
- Certified Pharmacy Technician Preferred
- Sterile compounding or hazardous drug compounding experience
- Experience performing in a fast-paced and high volume environment preferred
