Pharmacy Technician - Norlina/Stovall

About the position

Seeking a pharmacy technician with minimum 1 year experience who can work well with the public. Full-time position located in Norlina/Stovall pharmacies. Will work as directed by RHG Pharmacists to ensure medication is filled per protocols and ensure sliding fee/indigent program rebates and third party insurance are completed correctly.

Responsibilities

• Ensure medication is filled per protocols as directed by RHG Pharmacists.
• Complete sliding fee/indigent program rebates and third party insurance correctly.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience as a pharmacy technician.
• PTCB certification or seeking PTCB certification is required.
• NCBOP registration within 30 days of employment.
• Excellent customer service and good telephone etiquette.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to communicate with patients and family members from various educational, socio-economic and cultural backgrounds.
• Pleasant, professional approach toward patients, providers, co-workers and superiors.
• Excellent teamwork skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a potentially stressful environment.
• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to apply concepts of basic mathematics.
• Reasoning Ability: Ability to interpret a variety of instructions.
• Computer skills to work with the pharmacy computer system.
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus, but not required.
