About the position
The Inpatient Pharmacy Technician performs technical, specialized duties. The Pharmacy Technician does not perform duties that require the professional judgment of a pharmacist. The Pharmacy Technician assists the Staff Pharmacist in the technical and mechanical (non-professional) duties of all distribution systems. The Pharmacy Technician must have the ability to distinguish routine functions from those requiring the professional judgment of a pharmacist; have the ability to initiate tasks/problem solving, organize and complete work without direct supervision.

Requirements
- At least 6 months experience as a Pharmacy Technician or similar job experience.
- Exhibit a high degree of reliability and dependability.
- Demonstrate above average flexibility in job adaptability.
- Pass a competency test (>75%) within the 6 month probationary period.
