About the position
As a Pharmacy Manager at CVS Health, you will play a crucial role in delivering patient care and managing pharmacy operations. Responsibilities
- Lead and direct pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
- Ensure patient safety and compliance with pharmacy professional practice and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee quality assurance and customer service within the pharmacy.
- Manage personnel, inventory, financial profitability, and loss prevention.
- Implement patient care programs to keep customers healthy.
- Motivate and develop pharmacy support staff by balancing assignments and addressing development opportunities.
- Identify business opportunities and implement solutions to drive growth and performance.
- Adapt to changes in the community healthcare setting and adjust plans accordingly.
- Foster a team culture that promotes caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
Requirements
- Active Pharmacy License in the state of employment.
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
- Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).
- Listed as the ‘pharmacist in charge' on the pharmacy state license.
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
