About The Position
Provides proper and adequate pharmaceutical service, including preparation and dispensation of all drugs. The Pharmacy Intern ensures proper storage, packaging, stability, and disposition of pharmaceuticals. Performs these functions and other duties as assigned under the general supervision of the Director of Pharmacy Services and according to legal requirements and hospital policy.
Requirements
- Must be a licensed Pharmacy Intern in the state of New York
- Must be a graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy
- Must have completed at least one year of pharmacy school
Responsibilities
- Preparation and dispensation of all drugs
- Ensures proper storage, packaging, stability, and disposition of pharmaceuticals
- Performs other duties as assigned
