About the position

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you will play a vital role in the pharmacy team, contributing to the mission of improving health care access, quality, and affordability. Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment while delivering exceptional patient care. This position emphasizes continuous improvement and collaboration to enhance patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional patient care under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Ensure patient safety and compliance with pharmacy professional practices and regulatory requirements.
• Manage inventory and workflow effectively within the pharmacy.
• Facilitate patient care programs to keep customers healthy.
• Display empathy and compassion towards patients, customers, and colleagues.
• Collaborate with team members to promote a caring and energetic work culture.

Requirements

• Accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
• 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Possess or be in the process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and timeframe.
