About the position

The Pharmacy Intern - Grad position at CVS Health offers an opportunity for recent PharmD graduates to gain practical experience in a retail pharmacy environment. Interns will work under the supervision of licensed pharmacists, contributing to patient care and safety while supporting pharmacy operations. Responsibilities

  • Ensure a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment that delivers exceptional care to each patient.
  • Lead with empathy and compassion for patients, customers, and colleagues.
  • Support the Pharmacy manager in developing and motivating Pharmacy Support Staff.
  • Identify business opportunities and implement solutions to drive growth and improve performance.
  • Adapt to changes in a dynamic community healthcare setting.
  • Collaborate with others to deliver better health outcomes.
  • Facilitate a team culture that promotes caring and enthusiasm.
  • Apply knowledge to drive healthy outcomes and differentiate CVS from competitors.

Requirements

  • PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
  • 0-3 years prior relevant work experience.
  • Must possess or be in process of obtaining a valid Pharmacist intern and/or technician licensure as required by state BOP.
  • Strong verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
  • Ability to remain mobile and upright for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift, scan, and bag items.
  • Finger dexterity for tasks such as typing and picking.
  • Visual acuity for activities like transcribing and reading.
