About the position

The Pharmacy Intern - Grad position at CVS Health offers an opportunity for PharmD graduates to gain practical experience in a retail pharmacy environment. Interns will work under the supervision of licensed pharmacists, contributing to patient care and safety while supporting pharmacy operations. Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety and compliance with pharmacy professional practices and regulatory requirements.
• Support the pharmacy manager in motivating and developing pharmacy support staff.
• Identify business opportunities and implement solutions to improve pharmacy performance.
• Adapt to changes in a dynamic healthcare setting and seek collaborative growth opportunities.
• Facilitate a team culture that promotes enthusiasm and pride in patient care.

Requirements

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• 0-3 years prior relevant work experience.
• Must possess or be in process of obtaining a valid Pharmacist intern and/or technician licensure as required by state BOP.
• Strong verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe.
• Ability to maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift, scan, and bag items, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and visual acuity.
