About the position
The Pharmacy/Certified Technician role at Fry's Food Stores involves providing exceptional customer service and direct patient intervention to promote health and wellness. Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to customers and employees.
- Deliver health and wellness services relevant to patients as allowed by law.
- Assist pharmacists in all responsibilities except those requiring professional judgment.
- Accurately complete reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing steps.
- Compound medications according to state regulations.
- Perform post-fill audits to verify prescription information against computer records.
- Support non-dispensing services using various platforms and resources.
- Complete CLIA-waived screenings in compliance with laws and company policies.
- Provide additional health and wellness services as permitted by regulatory bodies.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to handle highly confidential information.
- Completion of national registration, certification, or licensure as a pharmacy technician.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous comparable experience in a pharmacy setting.
- Equivalent experience as a pharmacy technician.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and company policies.
