Pharmacist

About the position

We are seeking a qualified pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Pharmacy or a Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution, along with current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district. The role involves performing prescription dispensing activities and requires a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws. Additionally, the candidate should be a Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform prescription dispensing activities

Requirements

• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district
• Experience performing prescription dispensing activities
• Strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws
• Certified Immunizer or willingness to become one within 90 days of hire

Nice-to-haves

• At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting
• Experience with prescription filling and verification
• Knowledge of records and legal compliance
• Familiarity with pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems, and insurance
