About The Position
A-Team Solutions LLC is seeking two Pharmacists for Full-time contract positions at the VA American Lake Campus in Tacoma, WA. The pharmacist can expect to work in the pharmacy, with shifts generally Monday - Friday Days, dependent on department needs. Coverage will begin upon credentialing. The contract pharmacists will provide pharmaceutical care for patients in VA medical center clinics, inpatient wards, and central inpatient pharmacies. Responsibilities include dispensing, prescription verification, unit dose drug distribution, controlled substance and high-cost drug accountability, drug information, formulary management, consulting, and antimicrobial consulting.
Requirements
- Must be licensed in at least one State with an active, unrestricted license.
- Must have a Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree.
- Must be able to meet requirements of the Credentialing and Privileging process.
- VA will need a copy of the pharmacist’s competency assessment completed by the contractor.
- Must be current on his/her Continuing Education requirements (ACPE).
- Should have inpatient experience.
- BLS certification through American Heart Association
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be authorized to work in U.S.
