About The Position

A-Team Solutions is seeking a Pharmacist for the CMOP Shawnee location. This is a full-time position with working hours from Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Requirements

  • Minimum of B.S. in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred.
  • Previous community pharmacy supervisory or managerial experience.
  • Licensed in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.
  • Graduate of an American Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE) accredited school or university.
  • Licensed for controlled substances.
  • Demonstrate effective interpersonal communication skills with coworkers and staff.
  • Basic typing skills and PC computer skills.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Must read, understand, speak, and write English fluently.
  • Able to sit/stand for long periods of time (8-10 hours).
  • Able to lift totes weighing up to 30 pounds repetitively.

Nice To Haves

  • PharmD preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain drug stock par levels to ensure drug inventory turnover.
  • Encourage generic and preferred formulary usage while maintaining contract adherence.
  • Receive and interpret physicians' medication orders.
  • Monitor patient medication profiles for sensitivities, contraindications, duplications, and major drug interactions.
  • Ensure accurate and timely refilling of patient medication.
  • Maintain patients' medication records.
  • Provide drug information to other healthcare providers and patients.
  • Consult and advise medical staff on drug therapy problems.
  • Coordinate and supervise workplace activities and resources.
  • Promote professional competence and ensure services meet specific standards.
  • Advise, assist, and supervise pharmacy technicians, assuming final responsibility for their work's accuracy.
  • Prepare special medications, including compounding and sterile products using aseptic techniques.
  • Assist with training programs for pharmacy interns, residents, students, and technicians.
  • Provide information on pharmacy practices, policies, and procedures.
