About the position
The Pharmaceutical Field Sales Representative role at Inizio Engage is an entry-level position focused on increasing awareness of COVID-19 risk factors among high/at-risk patients through educational efforts. The representative will work closely with healthcare professionals in urgent care and retail pharmacy settings, providing essential information about COVID-19 and its treatment options. This position is part of a contracted team dedicated to supporting Pfizer's initiatives and requires strong collaboration with colleagues to achieve sales and educational goals.
Responsibilities
- Provide educational support to physicians about COVID-19 risk factors, disease progression, and treatment options.
- Educate identified targets to ensure customer preparedness on patient identification.
- Build working relationships with customers through regular calls and ongoing contact.
- Collaborate with customer-facing colleagues to ensure aligned goals and coordinated efforts.
- Understand the customer and market landscape to prioritize opportunities and develop action plans.
- Engage healthcare professionals by answering questions related to drug interactions and treatment eligibility.
- Maintain expert knowledge of the product and related disease states.
- Implement strategic call plans to exceed goals for assigned geographies.
- Analyze customer interactions and data to tailor educational sales approaches.
- Guide retail pharmacy customer interactions to further educational efforts.
- Customize educational sales messages to align with customer needs.
- Complete call reporting and inventory recording responsibilities.
- Prepare for and participate in required sales conferences and training classes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Pharmaceutical Sales, Medical Sales, or related fields.
- Understanding of virology and urgent care settings.
- Valid US driver's license and a driving record in compliance with company standards.
- Computer/iPad proficiency.
