About the position

The Petroleum Estimator and Project Manager role at OWL Services involves managing projects and estimating costs related to petroleum services for retail fueling clients. The position requires strong client relationship management, project oversight, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards. This hybrid role primarily covers the Virginia market, with weekly commutes to the Pasadena, MD office.

Responsibilities

• Acquire clients and maintain relationships within the petroleum industry.
• Estimate and quote Heavy-Maintenance/Light Construction projects.
• Manage projects associated with deficiencies in underground or above ground petroleum tanks.
• Ensure health and safety policies are followed at all times.
• Coordinate and schedule projects with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Develop relationships with contractors and vendors to ensure competitive pricing.
• Keep detailed files on work performed for customers, including testing, calibrations, inspections, and service calls.
• Strengthen relationships with current clients and actively seek new clients.
• Maintain a conducive relationship with regulatory agencies.

Requirements

• Knowledge of DEQ regulations and procedures.
• Knowledge of NFPA 30, PEI 100 & API requirements/regulations.
• Proficient with computers and willing to learn software systems.
• Valid driver's license required as a continuing condition of employment.
• Clean driving record (if company vehicle is assigned).

Nice-to-haves

• 40 Hour OSHA Training (Not required but preferred).
• STI inspector certification (Not required but preferred).
