About the position

Blessed Oasis Pet Resort is seeking a dedicated Pet Grooming Specialist to join their animal care team. This part-time role involves providing high-quality grooming services to pets, ensuring their comfort and well-being while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The position requires excellent customer service skills and a passion for animal care.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-end grooming services to pets according to client specifications.
• Groom using breed-specific styles and techniques.
• Handle each animal with care, being attentive to their coat and skin condition.
• Communicate updates to pet owners as needed.
• Tidy and sanitize the grooming workspace between sessions and at the end of the day.

Requirements

• Diploma from an accredited grooming school or 3+ years of professional grooming experience.
• Experience completing breed-specific cuts.
• Proficiency with electric clippers and grooming shears.
• Ability to use verbal or physical cues to calm anxious animals.
