About the position

As a Pest Control Technician at D & T Pest and Termite Control, Inc., you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while addressing pest issues in residential and commercial properties. This position involves a mix of detective work and hands-on pest management, where you will inspect properties, recommend solutions, and build long-term relationships with clients. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in various environmental conditions, ensuring that homes and businesses remain pest-free.

Responsibilities

• Inspect properties for pest issues and identify potential entry points.
• Provide pest control treatments and recommend preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services performed and report any issues.
• Operate a company vehicle safely and maintain it according to company guidelines.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients on your route.
• Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment as required.
• Meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of driving experience with a valid State driver's license.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
• Knowledge of pest control products, services, treatments, and safety procedures.
• Ability to tolerate various environmental conditions, including seasonal weather.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with power tools and hand tools.
• Sales experience in lawn care or pest management.
