About The Position
Collins Middle School is seeking to deepen its personalized learning initiatives for the 2026-27 school year. This involves a summer planning session for educators who will be involved in this work. This is an opt-in opportunity for teachers and coaches to engage in reflection and planning for the upcoming academic year.
Requirements
- Internal candidates only.
- Must be a Literacy Lab, Math Lab, or Personalized Learning Lab teacher, or a Math/ELA coach.
- Must be available for planning between August 20, 2026 and August 28, 2028.
- Must reach out to Gavin Softic to express interest.
- Must email Joe Muratore or Rachael Corkum.
- Must complete the Google spreadsheet of availability.
Responsibilities
- Participate in 2-4 hours of compensated summer planning.
- Reflect on the first year of learning labs, identifying successes, areas for improvement, and necessary changes.
- Engage in launch planning, establishing goals and the overall structure for the course in SY2026-27.
Benefits
- Compensation at $45/hour.
- Funding provided by a DESE grant.
