About the position

We are currently seeking a motivated producing manager trainee to lead a team of insurance professionals in various office locations. The successful candidate will be able to inspire a team of sales professionals by helping them reach their individual and agency goals. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with the ability to learn and understand corporate business strategies and culture, is a must. This position is full time and will require working in an agency office. The producing manager trainee will be responsible for ensuring the agency atmosphere is a positive one, as interaction with prospects, customers and employees occurs on a routine basis.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of insurance professionals in various office locations.
  • Inspire a team of sales professionals to reach individual and agency goals.
  • Ensure a positive agency atmosphere through routine interactions with prospects, customers, and employees.
  • Have an in-depth knowledge of the insurance industry and transfer that knowledge to the team.
  • Elevate agency sales strategies and commit to learning new strategies.
  • Contribute to the agency's overall success by setting and meeting or exceeding objectives.
  • Effectively communicate on all corporate levels including agency team, Home Office staff, prospects, and customers.
  • Locate, interview, and hire qualified applicants.
  • Onboard new team members with industry and company policy training.
  • Coach team member performance and apply corrective action measures when necessary.
  • Terminate employment for team members who have not met corrective action measures or violated company policy.

Requirements

  • Three or more years of sales experience.
  • Licensed to sell insurance in selected states and territories.
