As an Account Manager on the Personal Lines team, you will inform, educate, and make recommendations to clients, carrier representatives, and underwriters; develop new business from existing accounts and assigned leads as appropriate and in accordance with standard practices, policies, and procedures; determine acceptability and placement of coverage and collect premium payments when applicable; resolve billing issues and service requests while maintaining concern for timeliness and completeness of information; monitor status of change requests, review policy documents for accuracy and follow up to delivery of change documents to clients; oversee the preparation and implementation of all transactions, paperwork, and internal processing for assigned accounts; support clients with standard and complex inquiries regarding coverages, products, and services the company offers. You will be responsible for documenting and answering client calls, emails, and mail transactions. You will collaborate and respond formally to client correspondence, either verbally or in writing, utilizing all reference material necessary to provide an informed response. You will communicate with clients to obtain additional information to complete transactions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Active current and valid Florida 2-20 insurance license
  • 3+ years of experience in personal lines industry, including thorough knowledge of personal lines products
  • Proficiency with MS Office, including Excel

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Experience with Sagitta and Image Right
  • Experience with EPIC

Responsibilities
